Our anniversary meal-Italian style.

I reserve thr their website in the morning & they sent

their confirmation immediately.

Another restaurant beside the swimming pool.There are tables beside the pool but we prefer indoor since it is a hot afternoon. Since it a celebration , we decide to opt for their free flow of beverage which include wine , champagne, beer, cocktail, juices, soft drink...

That me before the meal & drink 
My first drink :  cocktail of the day - Lychee martini & Hub got champagne.

Menu- They will serve all 1st round, we can choose for repeat dish if we want to.

Starter : 

Love the wild mushroom with white truffle foam
Suppose to drink at 1 shot.
It is yummy , I order quite a number...it s a pity this was the last starter to serve.
Last order for starter closed around 5mins after last starter served.
I think this is served around 1:30

Main :

Truffle & Porcini Aquarello Risotto
This taste yummy-hardly see this dish in an italian restaurant in Singapore.
I didnt order extra for this cos there is not much ingredient here & easily full then I wont be able to eat other stuff.

 Orecchiette Pasta(Goat)

I cant stand the smell of Goat , i have a taste & the smell is so strong but hub said it nice .If you like goat, then it should be nice

Linguine Pasta
Love the tomato sauce!
Taste nice but only 2 prawn , 2 tomatoes & 2 veggie so we also didnt order another one.

 Cod fish 
Very yummy. I have few servings!
 luckily this is not serve the last that I can eat a few portion  cos their last order is immediately after the last dish.

Angus beef & lamb

I didnt have this 2 as I m a buddhist & cant stand lamb smell

but hub said it nice.He have another serving of the beef.

Dessert corner : 

I still have stomach for that...very yummy 

 Some of the beverage & wine we ordered-red wine , white wine, champagne, cocktail....
personally feel it is very worth if you can drink very well.

 This are for the customers...if you can finish, go ahead haha

All the dishes serve very slow so we keep drinking...

I am a little tipsy after the meal.

I would like to comment this is the best & unique Italian buffet I ever tried so far.

Overall good service, they will auto refill our wine ,champagne & ask if I want more for my cocktail when I finished my drink.
Be prepare to sit through the whole buffet timing as their last main dish serve @ 3pm...Chill

Breakfast @ Sky57 is too full for any lunch...

It is a pity to just have afternoon tea so decide a great dinner.

Zi char style.Prepare to wait long. Wanna have crab meal but East Coast seem too far so decide this place...

I prefer this than Sri Lanka crab-own preference.

Taste a little salty but it still nice...will ask them less salt next time

Home made ice-lemon tea very big cup, it hongkong style tea.

Women day sweet ending - Another restaurant near swimming pool 
Can opt the table beside the pool, it would be romantic for a couple to dine there.

Will be back again for their yummy crab :)

Breakfast :
Semi buffet - 2main course & buffet on what is on.
Main course menu & buffet table almost the  same as last year.
Although their main course is yummy , I do hope they change menu regularly.
Return visit because I think it the best value with the view & yummy food.
Compare with the 1st visit , main course portion is bigger & the buffet price no change! 
Only brief about the main course, for more details , can refer to my blog...no point repeat same pic , same menu.

Slow cook farm egg : taste very normal - didnt regret cos it is still hotel standard , i choose this because there are 3 of us , would like to try different main course. 
Compare to my 1st visit ,can check my blog pic ,here is 2 eggs.1 egg more!

I ordered this last time & again cos it is very yummy.
Highly recommend!

 Spanish omelette -  something unusual

Tonkotsu ramen :
Of course dont expect the ramen taste as great as ramen restaurant.
The soup taste normal but my mum love this for breakfast because she dont like too oily stuff for breakfast.I love the egg being cooked as authentic ramen restaurant.

3of us with 6main course: 
Another main course is the daily chef special which my mum orderer-Sichuan noodles soup.
She like it , i taste normal...didnt have chance to take the pix

Yogurt brand change to meiji...both brand are great
My own creation- walnut & hazelnut toppings.

One of the CNY day celebration lunch with my mother & brother.
Usually we will eat 1 hotel buffet during CNY but this is the first hotel I went provide yusheng : 

The salmon is very fresh: 

Variety of sushi

 Roasted session: Taste so so.
Disappointed that the roast pork not crispy.

What I got here : 
Unique dishes : 
Dry herbal chicken, black pepper cod fish-highly recommend

Kueh pie tee : 
A pity I didnt have chance to eat this, must remember to try this next time I come!

Dessert corner : 
CNY cookies - i tried 1 each ...i think my house taste better all except fortune cookies-4D number inside

Durian cake is yummy, it is not label but i smell it & grab it -lucky cos when I am back for more , no more ...replace by another cake.

Other cakes...still durian is the best

My verdict :  certain dishes are nice & certain  taste so so overall it is a good deal with the 1 for 1 , must try...
I will definitely be back again & during CNY period.

What I like about them: 
Good service!
When we told them our idea to bash cake , they are ok about it of course we bring a mat to minimise the damage.
I think it is good enough they can take our bb shoot which require more patient .
They are not pushy type &  didnt ask us to buy more pic like other studio.Plus point!
We take our time to choose & only choose 5more pic but they didnt show any face like elsewhere.
