 Restaurant interior - typical hong kong restaurant style

 Part of the menu : 

 Durian Tart , HK milk tea 
Durian tart $5.50- durian just nice , not too sweet.
HK Milk tea $2.20- Finally get to taste truly HK milk tea in Singapore. 
My hub order Yuenyeung...He claim same taste as HK.
I forgot to drink his so I cant rate it but I believe should be the same as HK.

Very extensive menu.They got noodles,nissin noodles,bbq stuff, rice ....We order some dimsum  & main dishes...2 of us + a baby cant order too much...

1) Malay cake $4-  better than Tim Ho Wan SIngapore...should be the best I ever had in Singapore.
Tim Ho Wan HK of course better...but compare Singapore to Singapore ...HK to HK.
2)XO Carrot cake $5.50 -This style also the best so far I taste in Singapore.
3) Fried prawn wanton $6.80 -Best in Singapore.
BBQ Bun-It is a pity I didnt have chance to taste it .My hub claim it is very normal.
4) HK toast bread with condense milk & peanut butter(right top) $2.50
This is very normal...was thinking it would be thick toast style.

Nissin Noodle with pork chop  $6.80:
They have dry & soup type...decide to try the soup first
Oh my god...it is so heaven...broth soup base. 
The pork chop is nice.Soak together with the noodles doesnt seem to affect their taste.
The best I ever had in Singapore!
Tried nissin noodle @ alotof HK style restaurants in Singapore...none of them taste as good as this!

Very crispy, I thought I bite on the bones...this is very nice too.
I think even compare to cze char, this is the best chicken wing I taste in Singapore.

 Bean curd skin roll $4.50: 
Very crispy & nice...the filing seem overload.
Taste a little salty...but need to match with the black sauce for better taste ...so just put very little sauce...pinch... otherwise very salty...my hub totally didnt put at all.

We also order rice roll bbq pork but it doesnt seem nice to me.
The rice roll is very thick.I prefer the skin to be very thin.

Open concept dim sum kitchen: 
My boy so engross...

We cant finish all so ask for pack away...
They pack so nice ...separate for us unlike other places which will put everything together.

Thumb up for their good service! I will be back again 
Really envious people staying there!Can eat a variety of good food for their meal.
Be prepared to queue if you come during lunch & dinner time.
We came 10am + it is almost full.

Golden village gold class Suntec

My first gold class experience @  Suntec city (Flagship)

The gold class lounge : 

 The menu : 
Weekday special 3 for $30++

Order cappuccino  $5.50 to start with.
Normal coffee price @ cafe.
Review claim it too dark to see anything inside the theatre so order hot item at the lounge first.
Coffee very normal ...cant really taste the bean , the milk seem to cover the coffee taste.

The chairs & table:
Table seem small , lucky we didnt order much food.
The chair can be adjusted.

What we ordered : 

Gold class nacho with cheese & salsa sauces + specialty beer amp; Hofbrau Dunkel 
Special set $25 

 My main course : Tender boneless chicken thigh $16
I didnt have high expectation before the meal since this is not a restaurant just an experience.Hope the food dont taste too awful.To my surprise the chicken is tender & yummy with the sauce...They have more varieties of green compare to most restaurants.
I prefer more salty to my potatoes but there is nothing available like chillies , salt, pepper etc unless call for service but I am not sure they have a not.
Come to think I should have call to check if they have or not but I am watching a movie do not want too much interruption since it is a live one.

Hub main course : Duck leg confit(signature) $17
I tried his , the duck is also tender & nice!

 The main course portion may look small but it filling.

Waffle with ice cream $11
There are fruits & sauce on top.Taste very sweet.
I cant really taste waffle.

My view : 

Bad :

1) The theatre is very dark - cant really see what I am eating .Perhap they should add some dim light which we can choose to on or off.

2)The table is very small, refer to my pic

3)We wanted to order popcorn which they are unable to service...we got to go out to buy instead.

Felt that gold class should be able to fulfil this.

4)There is no pillow if you use the blanket.

5) I ordered a london ice tea beer but they only informed me no more after a while.Personally feel as a gold class service they should be able to know what has finished &  informed customer first what is not available on the spot instead.
We are the only customer in the lounge they are not busy either.
We were there for 12 :30pm show so consider early in the morning & there are no more stock?

Good

1) We can choose when food to be serve...order nacho & main.Prefer main 1st so that the nacho wont lose the crispness etc.

2) can have our meal at comfortable level & watch movie at the same time save time.
3)They have their own toilet which is usually not crowded

4) Chair can be adjust at comfortable level.

I will be writing to the management about my feedback hope they will improve the next time I come.

Tips

1)We can choose to order alotof food but serve as upon request instead of serving all at one go causing a cold food.

2) Come early at least 30mins to enjoy the lounge & then order the food 10mins earlier before the show so to have enough time for settlement.

If order in the middle of the show, they will hold credit card until the show end. Feel uncomfortable about credit card being hold.Although the settlement time is being omitted surely there will be still be interruption.
Furthermore the place is too dark to view the menu.

3) Choose a longer time movie at least 2hr in order to really enjoy the experience.
Need to consider the time waiting for food & eating speed should be slower than usual due to the almost darkness theatre.

Overall it is still a very unusual movie experience.
