I have a few requirements of the indoor play :
1) Allow outside caterer with hot burner
2) Some playtime
3) a party room
Caterer : Oshika catering
Highly recommend : black pepper pork,Braised Pork with Bun & fish is very fresh.
Bad :
1)Their menu do not have any drink.
So actually for this price is not consider cheap as we need to get our drinks.Luckily no GST.
2) I requested extra table I claimed " since you ve no drink then give me an extra table space to put drink" They actually charged me $5 on the day for the table without informing me before hand.
If they let me know , I wouldnt want to pay $5 extra for table.
I can get it from the playhouse.
Lesson learn must ask everything.
3)They didnt even email or message me to confirm the menu.
I have to call them again 1 day before to confirm but they still give us the wrong dessert on that day.
Too bad on that day very busy , my husband didnt really check the menu.
This caterer was introduced by my mother in law who claim mention the relative will have more portion.
To me it is still the portion doesnt seem extra more but definitely more than other caterer who actually allocate certain dish 1 piece per pax.

For my case they are flexible allow 25pax

Actually if no time can just use their one.
I have time & would like the kids to be happy & remember at the end of the party.Although goodies bag provided but I feel it is not enough so I add on top on theirs.

Actually I wanted to pack some sweet in but no time & some parents doesnt like their children to have sweet. Hence I have set up a snack section.

Why I choose Hokey Pokey :
1) The price is reasonable with kids meal included + theme + goody bag+ 2hr playtime in the playground.
2) The kids meal is quite fulling for the kids
3) The location is near my guest house(all stay in the east side)

My thoughts :
2hours party room include playtime is a bit short.
eating time, birthday song, picture taking ,cake cutting take abit of the time & guest to finish the cake & expect the guest to be late.
The kids will take a while to finish their food too.
On that day , many of the guests are late ,my parent in law family also late by 1hr ++
Actually I already inform those who I think will be late , the party start 1hr earlier but they are still late -_-
After the cake cutting by then the kids left less than 1/2 hr to play.
Do expect kids will want to play more.Of course extend time we need to pay cant expect the guest to be pay right?
Lucky for my case , all my guests all seem to know what to do that they leave exactly the end of the party time.
Hence next time I will chose unlimited play time.
